What can an osteopath do for you?

Osteopathy can be extremely effective for treating the following problems :-

Back Pain: The rapid relief of backache has established a solid reputation for osteopathy over the last century. Osteopaths are skilled at treating muscular and mechanical forms of back pain caused by falls, lifting, sporting activity and gardening to mention a few examples.
Sciatica: is pain in the buttock that spreads down the thigh towards the knee and sometimes into the foot. Mild cases usually improve rapidly with ostopathic treatment. Severe cases caused by a large prolapsed or 'slipped' disc may require other forms of treatment to produce relief.
Neck Pain and stiffness sometimes described as 'trapped nerves' in the neck, often responds well to treatment.
Whiplash injury to the neck may be from a road traffic accident. Provided there are no major injuries, then gentle osteopathic treatment can be beneficial.
Upper limb problems: This includes pains in the joints and muscles of the shoulders, arms, elbows and hands.
Lower limb problems: Muscle and joint pains with stiffness involving the pelvis, legs, knees, ankles and feel can also be treated.

A few other examples of what an osteopath can treat :-
Headaches
Migraine
Dizziness
Jaw Pain
Tinnitus (on occasions)
Ribs & Chest Wall Pain
Sacro-iliac Problems
Sports Injuries
